Smiling Buddha Bar — 961 College St. (w. of Ossington — map)

Looking for a way to pass those long, cold Monday nights where the world seems poopy and you’re hurtin’ for some experimental film and crazy music you’ve never heard of? Then Invisible City @ Smiling Buddha Bar is for you.

Into Turkish Pysch, Ethiopian Jazz and Cosmic Disco? Enjoy watching existential Japanese cinema and early-1930’s French marine-biological films . . . on the same evening? Try Invisible City @ Smiling Buddha Bar.

Enjoy the warm-hearted feeling you get when the bartender pours you so much red wine it overflows the glass and she starts giggling? A fan of being bathed in orange candlelight? Invisible City @ Smiling Buddha Bar.

Every Monday night from here ’til eternity. 03971semaj

What? No way! Maybe for a lame ass white boy like you it is. I love Sunday night adventures.

My ass is far from lame, my friend.

    I’m afraid I have to concur with Frenchie’s diagnosis. Ass=lame, boy=white.

Hey, you two! Get over yourselves! You’re both losers because you rank on one another instead of trying to learn about one another.

This event moved from every Monday night to one Monday a month, and now I think it may even be on hiatus.

Contact the Smiling Buddha for info. Their website it linked to in the article.

I think this is now defunct.
